Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Mythril Tech LLC (“we”, “us”), which runs LoveCue. By using the site or buying a report, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy and refund policy.

1. Who can use LoveCue

You must be 18 or older. By using LoveCue, you confirm you are.

2. What LoveCue is, and isn't

LoveCue is a quiz and a set of reports to help you think about how you like to give and receive love. It's for reflection and conversation. Results are based on your answers and on published relationship research, but they are not a scientific measurement of you or your relationship.

LoveCue is not therapy, counselling, or medical or psychological advice, and it doesn't diagnose anything. If you're struggling, please talk to a qualified professional. If you're in danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in Europe, 999 in the UK).

LoveCue is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Gary Chapman or The 5 Love Languages®.

3. Your email and My reports

We send your result and sign-in links to the email you give us. Use an address that's yours, and keep access to it private: anyone who can open your email can sign in to your reports.

4. Inviting a partner

Only invite someone you know, who can decide freely whether to take part. Don't use LoveCue to pressure, monitor or harm anyone. Your partner can decline, and sees what's shared before they start: each of you sees the other's mix and guesses, not individual answers. A couple invite works for 30 days.

5. Buying

• Prices are shown in US dollars before tax. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies, and you may be offered your local currency.
• One-time payments. Nothing is a subscription, and you won't be charged again.
• The full profile unlocks the reports for the quiz you bought it for. If you retake the quiz, the new result is a new profile.
• The couple report unlocks when your partner finishes. If they decline or the invite expires before they finish, write to us for a refund.
• Who sells it. Purchases are sold through Link, a Stripe company, which is the seller of record: it takes the payment, handles tax and sends your receipt. Your card statement shows “LINK.COM*” followed by our name. Link's own terms also apply to the payment. We provide the reports and are responsible for them.
• Delivery. What you buy opens on the site right after payment, and stays available in My reports for as long as we run LoveCue, unless you delete your data.

6. Refunds and cancelling

Every purchase has a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the refund policy for how it works, and for the 14-day right to cancel in the EEA and UK.

7. What's yours and what's ours

Your answers and the names you enter are yours. You let us use them to run LoveCue for you, as the privacy policy describes.

The quiz, reports, texts, design and scoring are ours. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use your results and reports for yourself and the people you choose to share them with. Please don't resell them, copy the quiz, or use LoveCue to build a competing product.

8. Fair use

Don't:

• enter someone else's email or answer on someone's behalf without their permission;
• use bots or scripts on the site, scrape it, or try to break or get around its security;
• use it for anything unlawful, or to harass anyone.

We may suspend access for anyone who does.

9. No guarantees

We work hard to make LoveCue useful and accurate, but we provide it “as is”. We don't promise that it will improve your relationship, that it will always be available, or that it will be free of errors. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

10. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on your results. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you live in the EEA or UK, we're responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care.

11. Ending

You can stop using LoveCue and delete your data at any time from My reports. If we ever close LoveCue, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to save your reports.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on the site or by email before they apply. Changes never affect purchases you've already made.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], USA. If something goes wrong, please write to us first at support@lovecue.co; most problems are solved quickly. If not, disputes go to the courts of [STATE].

If you live in the EEA, UK or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you keep those protections and can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
