Privacy policy

Your answers say a lot about what makes you feel loved. We treat them with care: we use them to build your results, we never sell them, and we never give them to advertisers. You can delete everything at any time.
This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and your rights.
Who we are
LoveCue is run by Mythril Tech LLC, a limited liability company registered in [STATE], USA, at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We decide how your personal data is used (in EU and UK law, we are the “controller”). For anything about your data, write to support@lovecue.co.
What we collect
When you take the quiz
- Your answers: who the quiz is for, your relationship status, what you'd like to improve, how you rate each need, and the scenario you pick.
- First names you choose to give, yours and your partner's.
- Your result: your mix of the 8 needs.
- How far you got, step by step, while the quiz is unfinished. Only the step, never the answers.
- Where your visit came from: campaign tags in the link (like
utm_source), the click id an ad platform adds to its links, and the website that sent you.
The safety questions in the deeper round are never stored or sent anywhere. They only decide, on your device, whether to show you support contacts.
When you give your email
- Your email address, to send your result and to sign you in to My reports.
- That you confirmed you're 18 or older.
- Whether you said yes to tips and offers by email, and when.
When you buy
- What you bought, the price, the date, and the email for the receipt.
- The payment's reference numbers at Stripe.
- In the EEA and UK, that you asked for immediate access and gave up the 14-day right to cancel.
Your card or bank details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store them.
When you compare with a partner
- Both first names, both people's answers and mixes, and each person's guesses about the other.
- Whether your partner finished or declined.
Your partner sees your mix and how it compares, and you see theirs. Neither of you sees the other's individual answers or safety questions. Only invite someone who knows you're inviting them.
From your browser
- Your IP address and browser type, and the country your IP address is in.
- Cookies and browser storage, described in our cookie policy.

We don't use your answers for advertising, and we don't make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects by automated means. Your result is calculated from your answers, and you can retake the quiz at any time.
Who helps us
These companies process data for us, under contracts that limit them to what we need:

And these receive data as companies in their own right, under their own privacy policies:
- Stripe and Link (a Stripe company) take payment. Link is the seller of record for purchases: it charges you, collects sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- TikTok measures which of our ads work, only if ad cookies are allowed (see cookie policy). It never receives your answers or results. See TikTok's privacy policy.
We may also share data when the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or with a buyer if Mythril Tech LLC or LoveCue is sold, who would then be bound by this policy.
Selling and sharing
We don't sell personal data for money. Some US state laws count letting TikTok measure our ads as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can turn that off on the cookie policy page, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as the same choice.
Transfers outside your country
We and most of the companies above are in the United States. When data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland goes there, it's protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where the company is certified, or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- If you bought a report: your answers, results and reports stay for as long as we run LoveCue, so what you paid for stays yours, unless you delete them.
- Otherwise: your answers, results and email are kept until you delete them, or until 24 months after you last took the quiz or signed in, whichever comes first.
- Quizzes left unfinished before giving an email: 24 months.
- Couple invite links stop working after 30 days if your partner hasn't finished.
- Your choice about tips and offers: until you unsubscribe or delete your data.
- Purchase records and receipts: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years. These are kept even if you delete your data, without your answers or results.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Cookies: as listed in the cookie policy.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and send you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop sending tips and offers (every such email has an unsubscribe link);
- turn off ad measurement.
In the EEA and UK you can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests, ask us to restrict processing, take your data to another service, and withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to your local data protection authority, though we'd like the chance to fix things first.
In US states with privacy laws (like California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others), you have the right to know, delete and correct your data and to opt out of targeted advertising. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. If we refuse a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we'll review it again.
The fastest way to delete everything is “Delete my data” in My reports (sign in with your email). For anything else, write to support@lovecue.co from the email you used. We may ask you to confirm it's you, and we answer within 30 days.
Children
LoveCue is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If someone says they're under 18, we discard their unfinished quiz. If you think a child has used LoveCue, write to us and we'll delete their data.
Security
Data travels encrypted. Our database can only be reached by our own servers, and the secret links that tie your browser to your results are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. No system is perfectly safe, but if a breach ever affected your data, we'd tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll also tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
